Goals of the project
The main objective of the website was to provide a convenient and user-friendly platform for customers to browse and purchase jewelry online. Additionally, the website needed to have a secure payment gateway, and a system for tracking orders and managing inventory. The site also needed to integrate Klarna as a payment solution and DHL as a delivery provider.
THE SOLUTION
What we came up with
The website was developed using the popular open-source e-commerce platform PrestaShop, which allows for easy customization and integration with various third-party tools. To integrate Klarna as a payment solution, Klarna's API was integrated into the website to allow customers to make purchases using Klarna's payment options such as Pay later and Slice it. For the delivery option, DHL's API was integrated into the website to allow the customers to choose DHL as a delivery provider and also track their orders.
The website's design was kept elegant and modern, with a focus on showcasing the jewelry as the main feature. A search bar and filters were added to make it easy for customers to find the products they are looking for.
The website includes several key sections:
- Products: This section showcases all of the available jewelry, with high-quality images and detailed descriptions.
- Shopping Cart: This section allows customers to add items to their cart and proceed to checkout.
- Checkout: This section allows customers to enter their shipping and payment information, and track their orders.
- My Account: This section allows customers to view their order history and manage their account details.
To make the website secure, an SSL certificate was added, along with a payment gateway that accepts multiple payment options including Klarna and DHL as a delivery provider

The website has also helped to improve the company's reputation, as it presents a professional and reliable image to the public. The integration of Klarna and DHL has also provided customers with more payment and delivery options, making the overall shopping
